The School Street outside Alleyn's Junior School on Hillsboro Rd has led to a much improved environment outside the school. After this was introduced, 64% pupils were cycling, walking or scooting to school compared to 44% three years before; and car travel more than halved in the same time frame, to 20% coming by car, the lowest ever.
